Breakfast: Papaya "Mandalade"

Preparation time: 10 mins (soaking the nuts and seeds overnight)




The "Mandalade" is a quick and nutritious breakfast that will keep you full throughout the morning giving you all the nutrients you need.




Ingredients:

The weight of each ingredient will depend on your personalised metabolic balanced meal plan. Below, the recipe shows weight as an example.


30 gr almonds

20 gr sunflower seeds

175 gr papaya

a few mint leaves


Preparation:

  1. Soak the nuts and seeds overnight in cold water

  2. Drain the water in the morning

  3. Leave a few almond nuts a side for your protein bite and for some decoration

  4. Grind in a blender the nuts, seeds and the papaya into a smoothie

  5. Put in a bowl and decorate the creamy substance with almonds and mint leaves

The nutty flavour together with the tropical taste of papaya will make for an energising and delicious breakfast. Couple the meal with a strong cup of coffee (without milk and sugar/sweeteners) or your favourite black tea and enjoy your morning in mindfulness.
